II. HOW CAN I HAVE PURE RELATIONSHIPS?
A. Be pure in my relationship with God.
The first step to be pure is to "Submit yourself then to God." (7)
Colossians 3:15 "Let the peace of Christ rule in your heart."
B. Understand how the devil is working in your heart.
(7) "Resist the devil, and he will flee from you."
2 Cor. 2:11 "In order that Satan might not outwit us, we are not unaware of his schemes."
C. I need to get closer to God. (8)
Isaiah 26:3 "He will keep him in perfect peace all those who trust in Him, whose thoughts turn often to the Lord."
D. Be willing to purify your hearts and relationships
(9) "Let there be tears for the wrong you've done." LB.
Phil 2:3-5 “Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves. Each of you should look not only to your own interests, but also to the interests of others. Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus.”
CONCLUSION: The most important thing we can do in life is to keep our relationship with God and one another pure. Nothing else really matters.
